ABOUT ME

My goal is to have my art lift people's spirits. In all of my art, I like to share inspirational quotes as well as versus that I pull from my faith. I have illustrated several children's books, and a lot of my art shows my love of working with colored pencil and ink. You'll find that I love creating with varying types of media and usually have many projects going at one time. Some pieces I use a combination of elements like rock, wire, clay and whatever else hits my brain as inspiration. Currently, I'm finding joy creating new art pieces through Mosaic works with broken glass.
I was fortunate to be able to go to college at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and emphasized in Illustration. After college when I got married, I moved back to my home town, a small town in Minnesota. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful children who are now all grown up!
